Here at P.A.T. Test Central, we follow a standardised testing procedure designed to thoroughly test the safety of all your appliances, conforming to the Code of Practice laid out by the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE)
We thoroughly check all your portable appliances for:
- Over-loaded sockets and extension leads
- Damage to cable-flex
- Damage to the plug and casing
- Incorrectly wired plugs
- Inadequate fuse rating
We then perform a series of tests including:
- Earth continuity testing
- Insulation resistance
- Flex polarity test
- Earth leakage test
- Operational test
- Visual inspection
P.A.T. testing prices:
- Up to 75 items - £1.30 per device
- Up to 150 items - £1.10 per device
- Up to 250 items - £1 per device
- Over 250 items - 90p per device
- 500+ items - Ask for our very competitive quote!
- Minimum test fee £35 (Notts area - This covers first x 10 P.A.T. tests)
